Fibromyalgia is a disorder characterized by pain or hypersensitivityin the muscles, ligaments, and tendons of the body. Women with fibromyalgia often complain of widespread, chronic pain, and pain sensitivity around the body. They may also suffer from fatigue, sleep disturbances, depression, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, and memory problems. Other symptoms can include migraine headaches, abdominal pain, bloating or alternating constipation and diarrhea, and temporomandibular jaw pain.
