Dr. Monica Mallampalli is the Vice President of Scientific Affairs at SWHR.
Prior to working at SWHR, Dr. Mallampalli was employed by NIH as a Health Science Policy Analyst and as a Research Fellow. She was also was a post-doctoral fellow at The Johns Hopkins University School ofMedicine’s Department of Cell Biology.
Dr. Mallampalli is SWHR’s scientific expert and spokesperson with media and interested others. She currently develops new scientific programs and initiatives related to women’s health and sex-based biology research, including programs such as the Interdisciplinary Research Networks, roundtable meetings, and annual conferences.
Dr. Mallampalli earned her PhD at the University of Utah in Human Genetics and received a Master of Sciences with a concentration in Biochemistry from Osmania University in India.
