Anju Priyadarshini (she/her) is a full-time MPH student at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health with a concentration in women and reproductive health, and a visiting scholar at the Northwell Health and School of Medicine, New York.  She is passionate about reducing maternal morbidity and mortality, promoting health equity and diversity, and enriching women’s reproductive health across borders. She’s interested in looking at this problem through a large public health lens that includes clinical and policy perspectives.

Besides research, she has held many leadership positions in student societies and community organizations. She mentors undergraduate students who are interested in doing a master’s degree. She loves to cook Indian cuisine, have movie nights, explore coffee shops, and go on long hikes. She lives in Baltimore, Maryland, with her husband and two kids.
