Migraine is a chronic neurological disease that is three times more common in women than men. People with migraine have attacks of moderate to severe head pain and other neurologic symptoms lasting 4 to 72 hours if untreated. The condition places significant burden on women, their families, and society as a whole.

SWHR created this Migraine Matters fact sheet for people with migraine to share with their friends, family, and coworkers to help inform them about migraine disease. This resource discusses the differences in migraine types and offers advice for supporting people with migraine.
