SWHR Urges Secretary Becerra to Prioritize Offices of Women’s Health

SWHR sent a letter urging Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Xavier Becerra to prioritize the important work of the Offices of Women’s Health (OWH) within the HHS. The letter explains that these offices are crucial to creating meaningful federal women’s health policies and programs and are essential to prioritizing, coordinating, and highlighting the health needs of women across the health continuum and lifespan.

SWHR – along with the Black Women’s Health Imperative, WomenHeart, National Women’s Health Network, and Jacobs Institute of Women’s Health – requested a meeting with Secretary Becerra to discuss how the HHS can support OWHs to meet their statutory goals and advance women’s health.
