Policy Advisory Council

The Policy Advisory Council is a forum for health care thought leaders to collaborate with SWHR to support and promote emerging scientific research and innovation and public policy measures that will advance women’s health.

Policy Advisory Council members have the opportunity to work collaboratively to inform policy positions; engage with SWHR, other women’s health stakeholders, and health care decision makers; and identify gaps and opportunities across women’s health.

SWHR’s policy development efforts focus on advancing public health and health equity, securing robust investments in research and clinical trials, improving women’s health across the lifespan, ensuring coverage and access to care, and diversifying the biomedical workforce.
