The committee will host a public webinar on September 9, 2022 from approximately 2:00pm-3:30pm ET and invites public input on federal policies that contribute to racial and ethnic health inequities and potential solutions.

The committee is interested in hearing about lived experiences navigating federal programs and systems, including barriers and solutions from community members and organizations.

Additional questions the committee would like input on are:

  • What are examples of federal policies that create racial and ethnic health inequities?
  • What are examples of federal policies that promote racial and ethnic health equity?
  • What are the most important considerations when prioritizing action regarding federal policies to advance racial and ethnic health equity?

If you would like to provide oral comments at the meeting, please send an email with your name and affiliation to [email protected] (each individual will have 3 minutes).

Members of the public may also submit written comments for consideration by the study committee (as individuals or on behalf of an organization) via email to [email protected] through September 30, 2022.
