HPV Vaccine Social Media Toolkit

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 85% of people in the United States will get a human papillomavirus (HPV) infection in their lifetime.

Certain types of HPV can lead to serious diseases, such as cervical, vaginal, and vulvar cancers in women; penile cancer in men; and genital warts and anal and oropharyngeal (throat) cancers in both men and women.

The HPV vaccine is highly effective in preventing many of these HPV-related cancers and reducing the overall spread of the virus. Each of us can play a role in increasing uptake of the HPV vaccine.

As part of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) Awareness Month this April, SWHR invites you to share out on social media ways to improve education around the HPV vaccine and its crucial role in public health. Check out the HPV Vaccine Social Media Toolkit today!
