SWHR partnered with the Global Healthy Living Foundation (GHLF) on a patient-friendly webinar on migraine disease, a common, disabling neurological disease characterized by painful, debilitating headache attacks. SWHR Migraine Program participants Dawn Buse, PhD, and Jelena Pavlović, MD, PhD, explained the the basics of migraine disease and migraine attacks, addressed the large burden that migraine imposes on patients and their loved ones, discussed how migraine is diagnosed, and shared examples of how migraine is treated and managed.
