SWHR Praises Resolution for Women’s Health Research Day

SWHR released a letter of support sent to both Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) and Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL-09) in acknowledgment of the congressional resolution recognizing January 25 as Women’s Health Research Day.

SWHR’s mission is to promote research on biological differences in disease and improve women’s health through science, policy, and education. With this in mind, SWHR supports Sen. Duckworth and Rep. Schakowsky’s continued dedication to the promotion of women’s health and the furthering of women’s health-related research. The recognition of January 25 as a day dedicated to women’s health research will bring awareness to the need for further exploration of sex and gender differences in health care.
