SWHR Sends Letter Highlighting Legislative Priorities in Remainder of 117th Congress

The Society for Women’s Health Research (SWHR) sent a letter to House and Senate leadership urging both chambers to come together swiftly to pass fiscal year 2023 appropriations legislation and calling attention to congressional initiatives that, if enacted, could improve women’s health across the lifespan. Among the priorities outlined by SWHR were the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Uterine Fibroid Research and Education Act, the Endometriosis CARE Act, among other legislation that would impact areas including clinical trial diversity, bone health outcomes, and Alzheimer’s disease.
