SWHR Submits Comments to MEDCAC on CMS General Requirements for Clinical Studies Under CED

The Society for Women’s Health Research submitted comments to the Medicare Evidence Development and Coverage Advisory Committee (MEDCAC) panel in advance of its December 7, 2022 meeting to discuss the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services general requirements for clinical studies under Coverage with Evidence Development (CED). SWHR’s letter focused on some underlying factors in the current CED process that may contribute to disparities in access and made a few recommendations to improve these factors moving forward.
