SWHR released a letter of support sent to both Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) and Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL-09) in acknowledgment of congressional resolutions recognizing January 25 as Women’s Health Research Day.
SWHR’s mission is to promote research on biological sex differences in disease and improve women’s health through science, policy, and education. With this in mind, SWHR applauds Sen. Duckworth’s and Rep. Schakowsky’s continued dedication to the promotion of women’s health and the furthering of women’s health research. SWHR hopes that recognition of January 25 as Women’s Health Research Day will bring awareness to the need for further exploration of sex and gender differences in health care.
