During this SWHR town hall event, heard from speakers about how individuals across communities can take steps to prepare for Alzheimer's and how organizations and policymakers alike are taking steps to improve Alzheimer's outcomes and reach diverse and underserved communities.
This event discussed how to improve health outcomes for individuals with psoriatic arthritis through recognizing and addressing symptoms, comorbidities, treatment options, and barriers to accessing quality care, while highlighting the diverse experiences of women across the lifespan.
SWHR convened an interdisciplinary HPV Vaccine Education Working Group of public health researchers and professionals, community leaders, and health care providers to discuss how to eliminate barriers to HPV vaccine confidence, access, and uptake through the development of educational materials designed to reach women.

During this virtual congressional briefing and national webinar, panelists reviewed ethical considerations surrounding inclusion of pregnant and lactating women in research, how to ensure the appropriate inclusion of these populations, and the current state of this type of inclusion in research, both within the federal government and the corporate sector.
During this public forum, panelists discussed the disproportionate impact of autoimmune diseases and conditions on women and why tackling autoimmune diseases and conditions should be a federal priority. Following the discussion, panelists also reviewed SWHR’s newly launched autoimmune disease policy agenda.
