February 11, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EST

The Headache and Migraine Policy Forum will host a policy luncheon in conjunction with the annual Headache on the Hill event on Tuesday, February 11, from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Kennedy Caucus Room on the Senate side (325 Russell Senate Office Building). This year’s luncheon will focus on the Opioid Workforce Act, which seeks to increase the amount of fellowships in pain and addiction specialties in order to decrease the use of opioids in treatment. HMPF is asking that the bill be amended to specifically include headache fellowships.

The panel will include:
  • David Charles, MD (moderator), Chair of Neurology, Vanderbilt University and Chairman of the Alliance for Patient Access;
  • Noah Rosen, MD, Headache specialist and Vice Chair of the Headache Section for the American Academy of Neurology;
  • Jaime Sanders, chronic migraine patient advocate and SWHR Migraine Network member
