During this SWHR town hall event, heard from speakers about how individuals across communities can take steps to prepare for Alzheimer's and how organizations and policymakers alike are taking steps to improve Alzheimer's outcomes and reach diverse and underserved communities.
This event discussed how to improve health outcomes for individuals with psoriatic arthritis through recognizing and addressing symptoms, comorbidities, treatment options, and barriers to accessing quality care, while highlighting the diverse experiences of women across the lifespan.
SWHR convened an interdisciplinary HPV Vaccine Education Working Group of public health researchers and professionals, community leaders, and health care providers to discuss how to eliminate barriers to HPV vaccine confidence, access, and uptake through the development of educational materials designed to reach women.
The event discusses how to improve health outcomes for individuals with lupus through recognizing and addressing symptoms, comorbidities, treatment options, and barriers to accessing quality care, while highlighting the diverse experiences of women living with lupus.
During this congressional briefing and national webinar, panelists explored certain areas of research where the exclusion of these groups has resulted in an inability to support them, how federal research investments could improve outcomes, and where there is opportunity—both at the legislative and regulatory level—moving forward.
