SWHR Submits comments to FDA Regarding Drug Trials Snapshots



The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently created Drug Trials Snapshots, a new website to give patients, providers, and caregivers information on the participation of people in clinical trials by sex, age, race, and ethnicity.

SWHR, in collaboration with the American Heart Association, the National Women’s Health Network, and WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease recently submitted joint comments to the FDA regarding this newly launched resource.

SWHR also submitted another letter signed by 40 organizations to the FDA regarding the Drug Trials Snapshots effort to make consumer-friendly information more available about how new drugs and biologics work in women, minorities, and the elderly.
