Susanna Ling leads the strategic development of SWHR’s key organizational and mission priorities in collaboration with key stakeholders including industry partners, patient advocates, and investors. She fosters relationships with national, regional, and local organizations with an emphasis on policy, advocacy, and research initiatives. Together with a cross-functional team, she develops new programs on policy, public education and science to advance women’s health.
Ling has been a leader in the life sciences industry for over 25 years. She has deep expertise in developing and managing strategic partnerships with global biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and non-profit organizations. As a patient advocate, she has launched programs focused on women’s health, rare diseases, and broader health care innovation.
Prior to joining SWHR, Susanna served as the Senior Vice President of Industry Programs, Sponsorships, and Partnerships of Cure, Vice President of Industry Partnerships and Sponsorship at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), Vice President of Business and Program Development at the EBD Group/Informa, and on management teams at the Milken Institute/Faster Cures, Guildford Pharmaceuticals, MedImmune and the National Cancer Institute.
Susanna serves on the Advisory Committee of Life Science Cares and the Executive Board of Gray for Glioblastoma. In her private time, she spends time with her family and volunteers with local community outreach programs.
