A silent epidemic affects millions of American women, resulting in billions in lost wages, upended careers, family disruptions, and emotional chaos.
Join U.S. Senators Patty Murray (D-WA) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) in a discussion of the Advancing Menopause Care and Mid-Life Women’s Health Act. They are joined by national advocates who are shining a light on the disparities in menopausal care and women’s mid-life health. They will discuss their bipartisan legislation to boost federal research on menopause and—for the first time—coordinate the federal government’s existing programs related to menopause and mid-life women’s health, and the working being done on the ground to fill the gaps in women’s mid-life health education, resources, and research.
