Caring for Women During COVID-19: Telehealth

July 15, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm EDT

COVID-19 has changed the way we provide care for women. Across specialties and in different practice settings, providers and patients are adjusting to a new normal. How do we bring preventive services back into focus? What are the benefits and challenges of telehealth? How are social determinants playing out during this pandemic?

Join us for a series of conversations about COVID-19 and its impact on women’s healthcare. NPWH Board Member Shawana Moore, DNP, MSN, CRNP, WHNP-BC and Director of Policy Susan Kendig, JD, WHNP-BC, FAANP, will discuss changes in practice and policy and share resources for providers caring for women across the lifespan.

This free webinar series is non-CE and will be recorded and made available for later viewing.

Webinar #2: Telehealth

Telehealth has taken a huge leap forward out of necessity. Providers across the country are adjusting to virtual visits, but telehealth programs can look incredibly different state by state, practice by practice. This webinar will discuss different ways telehealth is being implemented, the benefits and challenges, and provide tips for must-watch situations in the rapidly changing policy landscape.
