This activity will specifically address inconsistencies in research, advocacy, education, and clinical practice for screening, diagnosis, and management of mood, anxiety, and other mental disorders in patients and families during pregnancy, postpartum, and lactation. The goal is to ensure that health care providers acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for optimal delivery of care as well as advancement of research, medical education, and policy development for parental mental health during the perinatal period.
This CME program is designed to meet the educational needs of healthcare providers who manage patients with perinatal mental health conditions.
