New Clinical Advisory Board Shows Society’s Commitment to Women’s Health Innovations

The Society for Women’s Health Research (SWHR) is excited to announce the creation of its Clinical Advisory Board, an expert group made up of influential clinicians, researchers, and medical thought leaders who are committed to driving meaningful change in women’s health.

The Clinical Advisory Board builds on SWHR’s leadership role of convening expert voices in a range of women’s health focus areas, across which SWHR has frequently hosted working groups and roundtable discussions to provide unique perspectives on existing gaps and new opportunities in the realm of women’s health.

The Clinical Advisory Board will act as an expert resource for SWHR while focusing on real-world applications and patient-centered care, ensuring women’s unique health needs are at the forefront of innovations. These board members will bring valuable perspectives in emergency medicine, gastrointestinal health, and gynecologic health, among other areas, to build on SWHR’s 35-year history of advancing women’s health and promoting research on sex differences to optimize women’s health.

“We’re thrilled to welcome these distinguished professionals from across the women’s health ecosystem to the SWHR network and be able to grow our depth and impact of work with their expertise. Our Clinical Advisory Board is another example of how it will take all of us from across health working together to truly close the women’s health gap,” said SWHR President and CEO Kathryn Schubert, MPP, CAE.
