The Society for Women’s Health Research believes that sharing women’s individual experiences and journeys can help us better inform providers and policy decision makers on critical gaps in women’s health.
In this video series, SWHR aims to inform women who are looking to learn about the endometriosis patient experience and how to better navigate their care. Lindsey Peters shares her personal story as an endometriosis patient and advocate, revealing the impact of the disease on her physical health and mental well-being, including her experiences with depression and infertility. She stresses the importance of a multidisciplinary care team, and the invaluable support found in connecting with other women facing similar challenges.
