SWHR Provides Comments on FDA Draft Guidance on Diversity Action Plan
The Society for Women’s Health Research (SWHR) submitted comments in response to the FDA’s Draft Guidance on Diversity Action Plans to enhance clinical trial participation among underrepresented populations. In our letter, SWHR emphasizes the importance of incorporating sex as a biological variable; increasing clinical research diversity, especially for women in research (including pregnant and lactating individuals); and implementing effective recruitment strategies to address barriers for marginalized populations.
