The Society for Women’s Health Research (SWHR) offered comments in response to the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) Strategic Plan 2025.

Among its comments, SWHR encourages NICHD to elevate attention to the missing lifelong and whole-body connection. “We recommend explicitly addressing the integration of lifelong wellness and whole-body health into NICHD’s currently established goals to expand current investigator approaches to addressing human health and development research and care,” the Society writes.
