Throughout the year, SWHR champions policies to promote the health of women across the lifespan and advance equity in health outcomes. The Society achieves this by translating the scientific evidence base into policies and practices that reduce disparities and improve the health of women; acting as a source of expert guidance to policymakers; and pushing for the improved inclusion and representation of women from diverse backgrounds across all levels of science.
