Closing the women’s health gap: The $1 trillion opportunity
- This event has passed.
As you may have seen in The Guardian, Fortune, and Forbes, the McKinsey Health Institute’s latest report in collaboration with the World Economic Forum, Closing the women’s health gap: A $1 trillion opportunity to improve lives and economies, has sized the health and economic returns of investing in women’s health. Even though women live longer on average, they also spend 25% more time in poor health than men, and most of this health burden happens during their working years. McKinsey found a $1 trillion economic opportunity that, if harnessed, could unlock up to 75 million years of higher quality life for women (or 7 days annually per woman on average) from closing this health gap.
