  • This event has passed.

September 8, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

Scientists have known that amyloid plaque, tangles and tau are implicated in Alzheimer’s disease. Until now research trials have unsuccessfully addressed these three areas. In this webinar from Johns Hopkins, attendees will hear about current clinical trials to alter the course of the disease as well as early symptoms and the course of the disease.
The event speaker is Constantine Lyketsos, M.D., who is the Elizabeth Plank Althouse Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, director of the Memory and Alzheimer’s Treatment Center at Johns Hopkins, and director of the department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Johns Hopkins Bayview.
This webinar is part of a series of live one-hour Zoom conversations with Johns Hopkins physicians around health issues with live questions from the viewing audience.
