The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will host a public webinar highlighting research gaps and opportunities to advance women’s health featuring authors from our recent report, A New Vision for Women’s Health Research: Transformative Change at the National Institutes of Health.
Breakthroughs to improve health and well-being for women and girls have lagged, in part, due to a lack of baseline understanding of basic sex-based differences in physiology. The March 11 webinar will focus on opportunities for clinician researchers and scientists to advance women’s health.
